New Sign for Buckland Hall

Watch out for our new red sign on the A40 at the top of our lane. Painted by local artist, Christine Wright, and mounted on a green oak post, it offers a warm welcome to all our guests and has much better visibility than the previous signs.Event organisers & group leaders may wish to inform their guests that the old green sign has been replaced. |

10th Anniversary Party

Buckland Girl is Miss Wales 2006
June & Sept 2006
We think all of our girls at Buckland Hall are lovely, but one of our team, Sarah Fleming, has been crowned Miss Wales 2006. In September she represented Wales in the Miss World competiion in Poland.

Planning consent for new spa & bedrooms
November 2005
The Brecon Beacons National Park planning committee has unamimously granted consent for new spa facilities as well as 40 additional bedrooms at Buckland Hall. click for details |

Buckland featured in Extreme Makeover UK
October 2005
In October, Living TV's Extreme Makeover UK featured Buckland Hall as the stately home in which to film that night's "reveal" - the moment when their participant undergoing the cosmetic makeover gets to meet their family after six weeks of absence. click for details |

Tourist Board grading
March 2005
Buckland Hall has been awarded four-star grading as a Conference Centre by the Wales Tourist Board. This makes Buckland Hall the only wholly vegetarian venue in Britain with 4 stars. We are also grateful to the WTB for their earlier help towards the refurbishment of the mansion. |
